Meredith Wolfe works as the Administrator for the California Children’s Services (CCS) program for Humboldt County, where her focus is on access to high quality care for children with chronic and complex medical conditions, including bleeding disorders. Outside of work, she is the parent of a senior in high school with severe Hemophilia A, and sister to a brother with Hemophilia. Her lifelong experience with Hemophilia led her to become involved as an advocacy ambassador for the Hemophilia Council of California. She has also presented about the CCS program as part of the HCC webinar series.
Meredith lives in Eureka, on the far north coast of California, distant from bleeding disorders chapters, events, and services. Because of the distance from these resources, she is excited to be involved in the start-up of the new Redwood Bleeding Disorders Community, a non-profit serving people with bleeding disorders and their families, and bringing them together to create a community in Humboldt and Del Norte counties. Meredith has a Masters in Healthcare Administration from George Washington University.
