This orientation and training webinar will prepare you for meetings with elected officials. Learn which health policy issues the bleeding disorders community is advocating for – especially SB 1199 to stop copay accumulators and AB 1887 to get rid of hurdles to accessing FDA-approved rare disease treatments. BDCC will be discussing these two bills and our support for Medi-Cal, CCS and GHPP during Legislative Day 2026. Required for Legislative Day attendees, but open to all community members interested in advocacy at the State Capitol.
